When I am writing this post, I realize it has been almost two months since my last post, for the work stuff and then a long holiday. But I feel so great to be back, and you know what, one of my New Year resolutions is to keep blogging. Today I’d like to begin with one of my favorite designer: Nina Ricci, her pre-fall collection.

I just pick some pictures to share with you guys. This collection is about classic black, gray or khaki but I am pretty obsessed with the delicate details that adorn those solid color: the ruffle collar, crushing bows or the flower garlands. Those are also the inspirations to help us transform those runway looks into daily wear.

The belt

It’s said that a waist is a terrible thing to waste.  At this moment, the belt is not only to cinch your waist but also try to tie a bow at front like models do. Or you can just purchase a belt with the bow.

Madeleine Albright once said: if someone wants to know what kind of mood I’m in, read my pins. Now the flower pin, sorta of reminds me of Carrie in sex and the city, who even wore her LBD with a big pink flower pin on it. Here, I find some beautiful pins for you:

Last Saturday, after dinning with some friends, Molly (one of my girlfriends) couldn’t wait to rush to her apartment and was so excited to show me her new tuxedo cardigan, like this Keaton tuxedo cardigan from J.crew . And I kinda am falling in love with every piece made by Ann Taylor, it makes me confident and also pleased wearing those flattering pieces but meanwhile pushes me to work hard to get more bonus to purchase more. Now I am attracted to this tropical wool jacket.
